Public Schools in Colorado

Colorado Law dictates that Kindergarten shall be available to all students, however, it is not mandatory. Registration is required.
  • A child must be six years of age on or before September 15, in order to enroll in the first grade
  • A valid birth certificate or other acceptable proof of birth must be provided.
  • Immunization records with all required shots administered must be presented.

All Junior High/Middle School and Senior High Schools in Colorado are accredited either by the State of Colorado, Multi-State North Central Accreditation Association or both. Many of the school districts offer programs in; Special Education, Gifted and Talented, Art and Music, Vocational Education, Bilingual Education and International baccalaureate Program
